Manly is on the northern side of Sydney Harbour, bounded by water on three sides. It has stunning beaches, outdoor cafés, bars and cool restaurants, surf and beach-ware shops plus scenic coastal walks.
The easiest and most relaxing way to get to Manly is via ferry from Circular Quay. The 30-minute trip will take you across Sydney Harbour, providing magnificent views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, the Opera House and dramatic sandstone cliffs around the harbour.

All Sydney Ferries offer roll-on/off access via domed gang-ways which the crew put in place when the ferry is tied up.
The wharves at Circular Quay and Manly are floating pontoons which rise and fall with the tide. They have consistent wheelchair access, although the gradient changes with the tide.
Manly Wharf has shops, cafes, restaurants and an accessible toilet near the bar.
Crossing the street at the accessible street crossing from the wharf area takes visitors to the Corso.
The Manly Ferry departs regularly from Circular Quay, which is also serviced by trains and buses.
